    Transferred to Reconnaissance Weather Squadron, Fairfield, CA.

    1949

    Transferred to Oklahoma City Air Materiel Area, OK.

    1949

    Converted to a WB-29.

    November 1949

    Transferred to 513th Reconnaissance Weather Squadron, Tinker AFB, OK.

    January 1951

    Base of operations changed.
    Hickam AFB, HI.

    Circa February 1951

    Transferred to 57th Strategic Reconnaissance Weather Squadron (Medium), Hickam AFB, HI.

    From 1951 to 1952

    Periodically deployed to Kwajalein Air Base for use in support of 1951 atomic bomb tests and the 1952 hydrogen bomb tests at Eniwetok Atoll, gathering atmospheric samplings.

    22 April 1952

    Damaged.
    Damaged due to structural failure 400 miles N of Hickam AFB.

    From December 1954 to October 1955

    Transferred to Tinker AFB, OK.

    July 1955

    Converted to a TB-29.
    Modified at Berryfield, TN.

    November 1955

    Transferred to 3rd Tow Target Squadron, Goose Bay, Labrador.

    July 1956

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army with s/n 44-27343.

    July 1956

    Transferred to Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.
    Used as a target for weapons testing.
