    Civil registration, N8398H, cancelled.

    19 March 1971

    To Hicks and Lawrence Ltd, Tillsonburg, ON with new c/r CF-ZYC.

    Operated as fire service #20.

    To New Brunswick Forest Protection Ltd (FPL) keeping c/r CF-ZYC.

    Operated as fire service #20.

    20 May 1975

    Crashed.
    Took off from the Juniper Airstrip in New Brunswick on a spray mission. Only minutes later lost power and made a wheels-up landing in a swampy area near the airstrip.

    1996

    A group of ACAM members approached FPL and J.D. Irving Woodlands (the owner of the land where the wreck layed) regarding the recovery of the airframe.

    Circa September 1996

    The recovery effort was started. The airframe was jacked up and the gear lowered. The tail surfaces were removed.

    January 1997

    The airframe was moved out of the forest on skies constructed from guard rails.

    10 January 1997

    Transported by ground.
    Moved to the Jupiter airstrip.

    July 1997

    Transported by ground.
    Moved to the Forest Protection Limited base in Fredericton, NB.

    From 1997 to Circa June 2005

    Restored.
    The work was carried out at the Fredericton FPL facility. FPL provided the museum with parts from the crashes of Tanker 14 (1998) and Tanker 17 (1999).

    Transported by ground. Delivered to Atlantic Canada Aviation Museum, Bedford, Halifax, NS.

    Finished in the markings of an FPL Avenger which in April 2010, crashed and whose pilot, Ron Clowes, perished.
