    Constructed as a Tempest II by Hawker at Langley, Berks.

    6 July 1945

    Transferred to Maintenance Unit 13.
    For refurbishment and fitting of long range fuel tanks.

    8 August 1945

    Transferred to Maintenance Unit, Aston Down.

    1948

    Bought by Hawker Aircraft from surplus RAF Stocks.

    From 24 May 1948 to Circa 1953

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Indian Air Force with s/n HA564.

    By 1978

    Abandoned.
    Stored at Poona.

    1979

    Recovered.
    By Doug Arnold / Warbirds of GB, Blackbushe.

    1980

    To Tangmere Flight UK.

    1988

    To Chris Horslet.

    1991

    Restoration started.
    Restoration work on this aircraft began in 1991 at Spanhoe, Lincolnshire, in the hands of Windmill Aviation.

    Restoration work was halted in 1993, at it was stored at Audley End. In 1996 it was sold to Phillipe Dennis, in Romans, France. In 2000 it was acquired by Jim Perry and was stored in France.

    In March 2012 MW376 was sold by Airborne Attitude to Eric Hertz, NZ, and was going to be restored to flying condition by Pioneer Aero NZ. But in late March 2013 Eric Hertz was killed in an airplane crash and the project was now sold to KF Aerospace, Canada.

    To Badsaddle Stables Ltd with new c/r G-BSHW.

    From 10 June 1991 to 26 April 1996

    To David Norman Henry Martin with new c/r G-BSHW.

    9 September 1996

    To Philippe Yves Christian Denis, Romans, France, Addressee Status: Deceased keeping c/r G-BSHW.

    23 January 2001

    Civil registration, G-BSHW, cancelled.

    2014

    To KF Center of Excellence, Kelowna International Airport, Kelowna, BC.
    To commence restoration.

    Notes: KF Aerospace Hawker Mk II Tempest is now on display inside the fantastic new KF Aerospace Center for Excellence Museum in Kelowna. This restoration project has been many years in the making and its hoped that the aircraft will fly in 2022. It will be the first airworthy example flying in the world. This aircraft has been fitted with a DC-3 engine which came out of a CL-215
