Circa 1984		Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Navy with BuNo 161967.
1984		Transferred to Strike Fighter Squadron 132 (VFA-132), NAS Cecil Field, FL.
From March 1986 to April 1986		Deployed aboard USS Coral Sea (CV-43) for combat missions against Libya. First combat for F/A-18.
October 1987		Transferred to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 251 (VMFA-251), MCAS Beaufort, SC. Operated with markings: DW-03
By August 1992		Transferred to Strike Fighter Squadron 204 (VFA-204), NAS/JRB New Orleans, LA. Operated with markings: AF-406
September 1998		Transferred to Naval Weapons Test Squadron, NAS China Lake, CA.
From By 15 October 2004 to February 2010		Transferred to Flight Demonstration Squadron (Blue Angels), NAS Pensacola, FL.
