    Constructed as a Wessex 31A by Westland at Yeovil, Somerset.

    5 August 1963

    First flight.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Australian Navy with s/n N7-224.

    Transferred to HMAS Melbourne.

    Transferred to HMAS Stalwart.

    8 April 1968

    Involved in an incident.
    Suffered an engine overspeed, but the crew were able to bring it to HMAS Melbourne, and land it safely on the carrier.

    8 July 1987

    Became an instructional airframe.

    1991

    To Naval Aviation Museum.

    2000

    To South Australian Aviation Museum, Port Adelaide, South Australia.
