    Damaged.
    UH-1D 65-9795 was involved in a combat incident in South Vietnam during an unknown mission at an unspecified altitude and speed. The helicopter sustained a single hit in the equipment section, resulting in damage to the transmission system. Despite the damage, the aircraft continued flying and successfully completed all assigned mission objectives. The helicopter was subsequently repaired in theater.
