    Constructed as a F-84F-20-RE by Republic at Farmingdale, New York, USA.

    Circa 1952

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 52-7259.

    Converted to a RF-84K-17-RE by Republic at Farmingdale, New York, USA.

    From 1955 to 1957

    Transferred to 91st Strategic Reconnaissance Squadron (71st SRW), Larson AFB, WA.

    Was probably used operationally for a short time for deep penetration reconaissance flights into the USSR in the mid 50s. Started and recovered from Convair GRB-36D bomber over the Arctic (Yankee Air Force).

    1957

    Transferred to 67th Tactical Reconnaissance Wing, Bergstrom AFB, TX.

    Transferred to 171st Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron, Michigan ANG, Selfridge AFB, MI.

    To National Museum of the United States Air Force Loan Program, Wright Field, Dayton, OH.
