Crashed.
At Kennedy Lake, ON. -The float-equipped de Havilland DHC-2 (operated by Sudbury Aviation, registration C-FHVT) was landing crosswind in the narrows at Kennedy Lake, located approximately 40 nm northwest of Sudbury ON. During the final approach over water, gusty wind conditions were encountered. Control of the aircraft was lost; the aircraft veered left colliding with rising terrain. The aircraft was destroyed, and the three occupants sustained minor injuries.

Notes: C-FHVT at Lake Hood - this aircraft was destroyed in a crash near Sudbury, Ontario in 2014. Its remains have been salvaged and were trucked to Lake Hood in Alaska for an eventual rebuild.
