    Transferred to Eighth Air Force.
    Delivered to and Ninth Air Force.

    Transferred to 9th Air Force, United Kingdom.
    Immediately reassigned to the 9th.

    15 April 1945

    Transferred to Army Ground Forces.
    James Grey comments (10 August 2022): Probably not used for artillery spotting since the Field Artillery disliked the B model for this purpose. Undoubtedly assigned to FA Headquarters and used for administrative flights only.

    Circa April 1945

    Transferred to 71st Infantry Division, Europe.
    Used for artillery spotting and liaison.

    31 March 1949

    Transferred to Army Field Forces, Germany.
    James Gray comments (10 August 2022): Most likely served with the 6th Constabulary Regiment.

    1953

    Transferred to New York Wing, Civil Air Patrol.

    20 March 1957

    Certificate of airworthiness for N22422 (L-5B, 44-17191A) issued.
