    Was allocated s/n 41-25737 {1} with the United States Army Signal Corps but was not taken up.
    Painted in Army colors, but delivered to the US Navy with Navy serial 27960 on the tail.

    The first N2S-4 aircraft.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Navy with BuNo 27960.
