    Competed at the National Championship Air Races in the T-6 class. The primary pilot was Edmond Colbert. Qualified in 12th place with an average speed of 193.59 mph. Raced in Heat B. Finished in 6th place with an average speed of 186.03 mph. Raced in the Reserve race. Finished in 6th place with an average speed of 188.32 mph.

    Involved in an incident.
    The incident occurred at the Heavens Landing Airport (PVT) Clayton, GA, United States while landing. The damage was minor. According to the pilot during the approach to land the airplane touched down about 500 feet down runway 23 on the centerline. As the tail lost lift and the tail wheel made contact with the runway, the airplane veered left of the centerline. At 1900 feet, the airplane crossed from the south side of the runway over the centerline to the north side of the runway...
