    10 May 1986

    Crashed.
    There were two minor injuries. The accident occurred at Angels Camp, CA, United States while cruising. The airframe was destroyed. Numerous ground witnesses observed the aircraft fly low along the river which fed into the new melonies reservoir lake and then collide with unmarked high tension power lines which spanned a narrow portion of the lake. The pilot thought the aircraft was at approximately 500 feet above the water when it struck the power lines...

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at the Imperial County Airport (IPL) Imperial, CA, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. During landing rollout on runway 14, the aircraft veered to the left and, when the pilot made a correction toward the center of the runway, then veered to the right. The lower left wing of the biplane contacted the runway surface as the aircraft went off the 100-FOOT-WIDE runway into sand and nosed over. The surface winds were from 170 degrees at 13 knots...

    Involved in an incident.
    At Denver Centennial Airport-CO. -The pilot reported that, during landing in the tailwheel-equipped airplane and as the tailwheel touched down on the runway, the airplane suddenly veered to the right. The pilot attempted to correct with opposite rudder; however, the airplane veered hard to the left and exited the left side of the runway, despite the pilots use of right rudder and braking. The airplane subsequently nosed over and came to rest inverted. The airplane sustained substantial damage to the top left wing, vertical stabilizer, and rudder.
