    Built under licence as a PBV-1A Canso A (A for amphibian) by Canadian Vickers in Cartierville, Quebec

    From March 1944 to 27 June 1947

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Canadian Air Force with s/n 11054.

    From 1954 to 1 January 1955

    To Lee Crutchell, San Jose, Costa Rica.

    1955

    Converted to a 28-5AC.
    Converted in Costa Rica by SALA, San Jose.

    From July 1956 to 1960

    To Eastern Canada Stevedoring Company with new c/r CF-JCV.

    From May 1960 to 1976

    To Austin Airways with new c/r CF-JVC.

    From 1976 to 1982

    To Aero Trades Western Ltd, Winnepeg, MB with new c/r C-FJVC.
