    Transferred to 3rd Radio Research Unit, Tan Son Nhut AFB, Republic of Vietnam.

    18 September 1962

    Redesignated as U-6A.

    From Circa 1963 to Circa 1964

    Converted to a RU-6A.
    Was the 1st U-6A to have the Airborne Direction Finding Equipment installed (making it a RU-6A) for use in the Vietnam War.

    Base of operations changed.
    Da Nang, Republic of Vietnam.

    From 1 June 1966 to October 1972

    Transferred to 509th Radio Research Group, Republic of Vietnam.

    To Butte County Civil Disaster Office, CA with new c/r N90663.

    7 January 1992

    To C E Schmidt Jr, Vichy, MI keeping c/r N90663.

    1 July 1997

    Certificate of airworthiness for N90663 (DHC-2 MK. I(L20A), 899) issued.

    1 January 2001

    Certificate of airworthiness for N90663 (DHC-2 MK. I(L20A), 899) issued.

    By July 2005

    Markings Applied: U.S. ARMY
    On vertical fin is painted the 20th Engineer Brigade insignia.
