    Involved in an incident.
    Rob Swigert comments on F-106DeltaDart.com: 59-0049 was involved in a gear-up landing at Oakland International back in the mid/late 1960s that ended up tweaking the aft fuselage a little bit twisting the vertical and canted about 3 degrees off true. Rob Swigert says that while at Castle AFB (84th FIS) this made removing the engine difficult, usually needing a tow-tug and chain to help pull it out.
