    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 42-93894.

    By 1945

    Transferred to 484th Bomb Squadron, 505th Bomb Group, North Field, Tinian, Mariana Islands.
    Operated with markings: Lassy Too

    Transferred to 484th Bomb Squadron, 505th Bomb Group, North Field, Tinian, Mariana Islands.
    Operated with markings: W 41

    23 June 1945

    Destroyed.
    Takeoff accident at North Field, Tinian, due to engine failure. Was one of 27 B-29s that was to mine four harbors in Japan on the night of June 23/24, 1945, but crashed on takeoff and was written off. All of Lt Earl D. Hollenbecks crew survived, and the other 26 planes finished the mission.
