    6 September 2000

    Crashed.
    Summary: The airframe was written off. There were two fatalities. It was a local fire fighting flight from Marseille-Marignane Airport (MRS/LFML), France. The accident occurred at 15 km (9. 4 mls) NW Aubenas (France) while maneuvering. Narrative: The Hercules, operating for the French Securite Civile, crashed while it was dumping water over a forest fire in southeastern France. The aircraft had just carried out a first passage; on the second one it flew into a hill.

    There were two fatalities and were two serious injuries. The accident occurred at AUBENAS, France. The airframe was destroyed.
