    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at the Greer Airport (MD20) Taneytown, MD, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. The Stampe SV-4C was on approach to land on a 1700-foot-long, turf runway. The pilot reported that the right main landing gear collapsed during touchdown. The airplane skidded on the grass for about 100 feet and then nosed over. Examination of the airplane did not reveal any mechanical malfunctions; nor did the pilot report any...
