    Crashed.
    Summary: The airframe was a loss. There were 16 fatalities. The domestic non scheduled passenger flight departed Minatitlan/Coatzacoalcos International Airport (MTT/MMMT), Mexico and was destined for Mexico City International Airport (MEX/MMMX), Mexico. The accident occurred at Pico de Orizaba (Mexico) while en route. Narrative: The aircraft crashed into the Pico de Orizaba, also known as Citlaltepetl, the highest mountain in Mexico. The DC-3 was chartered by the Mexican-United States Commission for the Eradication of Foot-and-Mouth Disease...
