    Summarized NTSB narrative from report number LAX69A0026: There were no fatalities. Incident occurred at 17:09 hours. The damage was substantial. Incident occurred at the Catalina Airport, Avalon, CA. Suffered a hard landing on touch down. The gear collapsed on touch down. The factors included; overload failure. Report remarks include: Aircraft porpoised, nose gear failed.
