    Constructed as a Hunter F.6.

Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n XG226 {1}.

Some components, although exactly which components is unclear, were used in the restoration of E-430.

    Restored.
This was a composite restoration with apparently s/n XG226 forming the basis of this restoration, although it is unclear which components XG226 donated to the restoration. Components of s/n WT684 were used as well and these may have included rear fuselage. The wings were sourced from s/n XM126 c/r PH-NLH. The tail section came from s/n ET-272. Additional components were obtained from s/n XF383.

To East Midlands Aeropark, East Midlands Airport (North Side), Castle Donington, Leicestershire/Leics, England.

    Markings Applied: XJ714
The airframe is marked as RAF s/n XJ714, but it is assumed that no components of XJ714 were used in the restoration. Apparently the cockpit only from the original XJ714 is preserved in Australia.

Notes: Smart looking composite Hawker Hunter at East Midlands Aeropark

The nose and cockpit of XG226 was noted at Manston Museum, therefore it is likely the fuselage of XG226 formed the basis of the restoration at East Midlands.
