    Constructed as a M.1C (replica).
    Construction started as a replica by Don Cashmore using original manufacturer drawings.

    8 June 1985

    Markings Applied: C4912
    Construction complete.

    21 June 1987

    First flight.
    Flown by John Lewis from the Hucknall airfield near Nottingham.

    As planned, withdrawn from use soon after the first flight.

    12 August 1987

    Certificate of airworthiness for G-BLWM expired.

    To RAF Museum.
    Sold to the RAF Museum.

    February 1988

    To RAF Museum RCRC, RAF Cardington.
    Markings added: C4994
    Sent to Cardington for rework.

    12 May 1988

    Civil registration, G-BLWM, cancelled.
    Registration cancelled by Civil Aviation Authority.

    12 December 1989

    Transported by ground. Delivered to RAF Museum, Grahame Park Way, Hendon, London, England.
    Moved to Hendon.
