    Notes: 2011 photo at Forsvaret Flysamling Museum (Norwegian Armed Forces Aircraft Collection), Kjeller Airport, Oslo - Heinkel He111-P1, werk number 1526, coded 5J+CNThis aircraft was operated by Luftwaffe II Gruppe / 5 Staffel during operations in Norway. On 26 April 1940 it took off from base at Oslo - Fornebu on a recce mission. It was hit by anti-aircraft fire from HMS Manchester whilst flying over Romsdalsfjord and was then attacked by Blackburn Skua aircraft of 801 Sqn Fleet Arm Arm, operating from HMS Ark Royal.The Heinkel made a forced landing on high ground near Digervarden, near Lesjakog and was abandoned by the surviving crew. The wreck was salvaged in 1976 and volunteers at Gardermoen have restored it to almost original condition.
