    Unit named Geronimos.

    30 September 1982

    Inducted into the CH-47D program.

    By February 1984

    Remanufactured as a CH-47D.
    New construction number, M3031, assigned to the airframe.

    23 February 1984

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army with s/n 82-23780.

    By March 1987

    Transferred to 213th Aviation Company, Camp Humphreys, South Korea.

    By January 1999

    Transferred to Company F, 1st Battalion, 14th Aviation Regiment, Fort Rucker, AL.

    By 2005

    The dynamic components, such as the engines, power train, rotor system and portions of the hydraulic system, etc., were removed and placed on a new build airframe 03-03734 with remainder of airframe scrapped.
