    Constructed as a T-33.

Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 51-4413.

    23 December 1957

Han de Ridder comments (December 2014): The pilot of this T-33 made some navigational errors and entered Albanian airspace twice, by accident. The second time it was intercepted by Albanian MiG-15s and forced to land at Rinas airport (Tirana). The Albanian government of that time made an espionage-by-the-evil-US-story of the incident. The aircraft was transported by road to the Arms Museum at Gjirokastr. The pilot was released after a few weeks of interrogations.

To National Museum of Weapons, Gjirokaster, Gjirokaster.

Notes: Many people say this museum is neglecting its pieces, but please remember Albania is still a very, very poor country. They really do wat they can.
