Landing in a strong crosswind could be interesting. The aircraft is from VX-30 Sqn Bloodhounds based at NAS Point Mubo, California. It made several circuits over Palm Springs and then was gone. This S-2F1 (S-2A) is ex Bu.Aer 136665.Marsh had stocked up on these to convert them to Turbo Firecats for CAL Fire. Unfortunately they lost that contract, so these have lingered on.
