Photos of roadside warbirds and museum collections are most welcome.
Photos of aircraft as they are currently displayed are great, but photos of airframes in previous markings, with past owners or during a restoration are fantastic as well. You can help document the history of airframes with photos!

    Airframe: Boeing 747SP-21, c/n 21648, c/r N7477S
Notes: This beautiful flying palace had been owned by the ruling family of Qatar for many years. It was brought to Kelowna several weeks ago and is parked at the KF Aerospace ramp. This short version of the 747 is very rare now, and only 8 of them are still flying. Nice to be able to see one up close. Its in immaculate condition for one approaching 40 years of age.

Notes: The Spirit of the Skeena has been re-located to the other side of the airport at Langley, BC. and sits in a little park which inconveniently has no parking spaces.

Notes: Brand new Viking Series 400 Twin Otter arrived in Vernon from Victoria May 17 and left the following morning on the first leg of its long ferry flight to Abu Dhabi. First stop was Springbank. This Twin Otter will be used in the United Arab Emirates as a yacht tender.

    Airframe: Grumman-Conair Firecat, s/n 1539 RCN, c/n DHC-038, c/r C-FOPU
Notes: This de Havilland built Tracker converted to Firecat has been retired now at least 6 years and is slowly going downhill. And to add insult to injury it was pulled over to the other side of the airport from its original position in front of the museum.
