Photos of roadside warbirds and museum collections are most welcome.
Photos of aircraft as they are currently displayed are great, but photos of airframes in previous markings, with past owners or during a restoration are fantastic as well. You can help document the history of airframes with photos!

    Airframe: Supermarine Sea Otter, s/n JN200 RAAF, c/n JN200, c/r VH-BQI
Notes: This former Royal Australan Navy Vickers-Supermarine Sea Otter JN200 was civilianised as VH-BQI in 1954 but did little flying before being retired on a farm at Awaba NSW near Lake Macquarie. The civilian white and green paint job was soon worn off by the weather, showing the original Royal Navy camouflage scheme beneath. Pictured in July 1967 when the big amphibian was derelict but still in one piece. Its forward fuselage is all that was saved, now in the Navy museum at Nowra.

Notes: Sea Fury FB.11 WH588 was converted by Fawcett Aviation to a target-tug in 1966 and registered VH-BOU in a vivid red and white paint scheme. This photo at Bankstown in September 1968. Airframe: de Havilland Mosquito PR.XVI, s/n A52-600 RAAF, c/n NS631
Notes: British-built DH Mosquito PR. Mk.16 A52-600 was found laying in a fruit orchard at Monak NSW in December 1966. It had been an instructional airframe at RAAF Ballarat until put up for disposal and acquired for Au50 by the property owner. Re-assembly proved too big a job and it was left where it was unloaded. The SU-A code comes from its days with the RAAF Survey Flight. The Mosquito was saved by Pearce Dunn for his Warbirds Aviation Museum at nearby Mildura

Notes: Former RAAF Douglas DC-2 A30-14 in Sid Marshalls storage yard on the boundary of Bankstown Airport, Sydney in 1964. Marshall Airways purchased five RAAF DC-2s from military disposals after WWII with plans to start an airline service but DCA would not grant an airline licence.
