Photos of roadside warbirds and museum collections are most welcome. Photos of aircraft as they are currently displayed are great, but photos of airframes in previous markings, with past owners or during a restoration are fantastic as well. You can help document the history of airframes with photos!

Airframe: Aeronca C-3, c/n A717, c/r N17404
Notes: Capturing the Master from a low angle on the ground only seems to accentuate the airplanes squat proportions. However, Aeronca aircraft are not built for speed, they are built for the pilot to savour the flying experience.

Airframe: Rumpler-Slingsby Rumpler C.IV (replica), c/n 1704, c/r N1915E
Notes: One of several interesting aircraft at the Golden Age Air Museum, Bethel, PA, This is a 1970 replica built by Slinsby in England. The original Rumpler C.IV was a high-flying aircraft, an observation platform that could cross borders at altitudes beyond what Allied fighters could achieve; yet, the plane was effective as a fighter at lower heights as well.
