Airframe: Short C-23B Sherpa, s/n 85-25343 US
Notes: The Short SD.3-30 was a twin-turboprop feederliner, a short-range small-capacity for less-traveled routes. The U.S. Army purchased some of these aircraft for passenger and freight duties and designated the type as the C-23 Sherpa. The military version has a special cargo door under the rear fuselage.

Airframe: Douglas A-4F Skyhawk, s/n 154200 USN
Notes: This particular Skyhawk was assigned to Attack Squadron VA-192 in 1969, aboard the U.S.S. Oriskany. VA-192 was later based in Lenmore, CA. In 1971, the aircraft was reassigned to VA-55, aboard the U.S.S. Hancock, in whose markings it appears. When the unit was transferred back to Lenmore, the aircrafts combat duty was over.
