Photos of roadside warbirds and museum collections are most welcome. Photos of aircraft as they are currently displayed are great, but photos of airframes in previous markings, with past owners or during a restoration are fantastic as well. You can help document the history of airframes with photos!

Airframe: Noorduyn Norseman V, c/n N29-8, c/r CF-BHU {1}
Notes: 1973 photo at Gimli, Alberta - A Post-WWII Noorduyn Norseman Mk.V of Ontario Central Airlines. A year later it was wrecked when the pilot mis-managed the fuel supply. Confusingly this aircraft was deleted from the CCAR in 1999 and replaced with an ex-USAF UC-64 using the same registration

Airframe: de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver, c/n 1604, c/r C-FMPQ
Notes: 1972 photo at Winnipeg - This RCMP machine is unusual in having a polished aluminum finish instead of the usual dark blue/yellow. Interestingly this is the second DeHav Beaver to be registered CF-MPQ. The first was destroyed in a hangar fire in 1959 and this one was wrecked in 1986

Airframe: Armstrong Whitworth AW-650-222 Argosy, c/n 6801, c/r ZK-SAF
Notes: 1972 photo at Winnipeg - In 1970 local airline Transair bought three of these Armstong-Whitworth Argosy aircraft to replace the DC-4s running freight up north. Being designed for European service they were a little short on range and so this one is on its way to a new start in Eire. It later went to New Zealand where it was wrecked in a 1990 landing accident
